The Capacitec’s Gapman® Gen4 replaces mechanical feeler gauges with high-precision, non-contact portable gap measurement technology.
Gapman allows fast insertion into gaps down to 100 microns which makes it ideal for aircraft wing and fuselage assembly operations as well as electric motor Rotor-to-Stator gap concentricity adjustments.

Gapman® Gen4 enables fast, repeatable verification of Rotor-to-Stator air gaps in high-performance electric motor builds — helping to improve efficiency, reliability, and production throughput. The Gapman GEN 4MP supports custom design multi-point wands that can measure up to eight unique positions simultaneously and communicate location data for an entire shim area wirelessly via Bluetooth to shim fabrication. This increases positional reliability and efficiency for large multipoint shim assemblies.
